Didactic Learning Laboratory at NUST – SQUARES – Sustainability and Quality Assurance for Academic Governance and Redesign Engineering Studies

On 16 September 2025, NUST Islamabad inaugurated a Didactic Learning Laboratory as part of the Erasmus+ SQUARES project.

The event, held at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, was attended by university leadership, faculty, students, and EU project representatives.

The new lab features advanced equipment including an 85-inch Interactive Smart Board and MacBook Pro laptops, enhancing teaching and research in smart infrastructure, environmental management, and quality assurance.

This modern facility supports simulation-based learning, data analysis, and hybrid collaboration with EU partners. NUST is committed to integrating this technology into its engineering curriculum and maintaining the lab’s sustainability through ongoing training and support.

The opening marks a key milestone in strengthening digital education and EU-Pakistan academic cooperation.
