SQUARES Project Consortium Meeting and Conference Held in Bhutan
From the 1st to the 3rd of October, the SQUARES project consortium held the next partners’ meeting at the Royal University of Bhutan in Thimphu, Bhutan. This gathering brought together SQUARES partners to review the progress of the project and to host the inaugural SQUARES conference, focusing on skills gaps in Higher Education and presenting project updates.
The conference featured four key sessions that explored critical topics in the field:
- Session 1: Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Techniques in Civil Buildings
- Session 2: Energy Management for Civil and Industrial Infrastructures
- Session 3: Transportation Management
- Session 4: Quality Management for University Governance
Participants engaged in productive discussions on the challenges and opportunities presented in each session, contributing valuable insights toward the project’s objectives. In addition to the conference, the meeting was enriched by cultural events, allowing attendees to experience Bhutan’s rich heritage while fostering collaboration among partners. This event marked another important step forward in achieving the goals of the SQUARES project.
